With the current situation of
RODRI sustaining an injury what would now be of the midfield I mean the defensive midfield of Manchester City? Because as it is everything might be pointing at the same direction as of last season, I don't want to see a weaker Man City next season that can't get a win against a promoted team, this season is suppose to be tougher than last campaign, without Rodri can we see a more different Manchester City than what we saw of them last season?
With De Bruyne gone to Napoli and Kovačić injured, the news that they will also be without Rodri devastated me. Man City will definitely be lacking a defensive leader in the ranks, but someone will need to step up. Most likely, Tijjani Reijnders — he has the pedigree for it, but whether he’s suited to the Premier League remains to be seen.
Manchester City is still
inon a good form to perform well next season despite the absent of De Bruyne that left to Napoli team, kovacic and Rodri that is experiencing injury. Some time, things like this happen to give other players on bench to take advantage of the absent players to prove to people that they are good, through their performance in that match. I don't think Manchester City coach have anything to worry about those players on injuries because he know that there are players who can handle their position until they are recover from injuries, and their performance will not drop from the season. Since we are counting days to the premier League tournament, Manchester City players will improve but I don't think they will win next season title.
