My question is, do casinos release big wins instantly, like it’s just part of their normal process?
I remember when Stake was hacked and over $40 million was stolen by the hacker. The gambling site continues to operate because it is a big gambling site more than that. So if someone win huge amount on Stake, they will release the money.
So this will depend on the gambling site. If the gambling site does not release the money fast, it is possible that they do not have the money. This is a disadvantage of using a small gambling site.
I don’t think the Stake hack is a solid basis to conclude that they always release big wins. It doesn’t work like that. Just because they managed to survive after that hack doesn’t mean they’ll instantly pay out large winnings. What about the extra KYC checks, or the anti–money laundering checks? Those kinds of processes are the reason for delays, and sometimes even for payouts being denied.
