No Bitcoin is not for the wealthy alone.
Though high transaction payments and coverage by the media may make it look expensive, yet it's divisibility implies it can be used by anyone. The real effect lies on the individuals and groups adopt it, it has the potential to serve as tool for the rich and also as a begining point for anyone going for financial inclusion.

You made a valid point mate,  and sure coverage by the Media may also have a hand in that but the reason why most people always feel that the price is too expensive is because they keep watching the market every time when they're supposed to get started with thier accumulating journey without even considering how small thier discretionary fund is, another thing is Greed over-aiming " yeah greedover aiming can also make some people to start thinking that they can not be able to invest in bitcoin, as a lot of guys will be thinking of owning 1BTC but with the level of thier discretionary funds they will feel that investing to the extent of owning 1BTC is almost impossible then they will decide to let it go, instead of reducing thier investment target.
