Which is more regrettable: not cashing out and having the bet lose anyway? That’s even more regrettable.

If you can win or lose that kind of amount you cashed out regularly, then I don’t think it should be something to regret.

Let’s say the cash-out offer is $100, but you have the potential to win $1,000 if you don’t take it. For me, I’d let the game finish since the outcome is still uncertain anyway, and I’d go for the $1,000. I can live with losing $100, but letting a $1,000 chance slip away? That’s not something I could easily pass on. That’s my mindset as a gambler.
