First of all, thank you for your appreciation. I will try to answer some of your questions and clarify some of the mistakes that I may have overlooked.

Although some people might think it’s a bit regrettable to sell Bitcoin at this time, for me personally, since a house is a primary need for me now, I consider this decision to be the right.
As far as the money being put to good use, there is nothing wrong with that; you have sold out to achieve something that you desire, which no one will blame you for. Congratulations on your new home.

The price of the house is actually at a good level; if that amount can get you that kind of house you showed in the picture, here in my country in a developed area, I don't think you can get land and raise it to roofing level with that amount, unless you are lucky enough to see someone selling off in distress.
Well, regardless of whether it was a mistake or not, it all depends on individual judgment, and in this case, my goal of getting a house has been achieved, so I don't regret letting go of the Bitcoin I had, especially since it had already yielded a significant profit—I bought it at $15k and sold it at $120k, which was a source of great joy.

The house was actually quite affordable because I bought it from my sibling. However, in this case, I had to compromise on my desire to live in a big city, as the house is located in a rural area with limited access, especially in terms of road infrastructure, which is still inadequate.

All this with 0.07BTC that is  approximately $9,120 at a price of $120,000BTC which is somewhat a very low amount of money in most countries around the world to afford such a house you displayed over here, this sounds so unbelievable.

The story didn't add up mate

I'm in the middle here, I mean it could be true, or it could just be a made-up story. But given that he mentioned IDR currency, it means he is from Indonesia and I think that amount of money is really big and could indeed buy a decent house like the one he uploaded in this post if he is from Indonesia.

Compared to where I am, I have to agree with you that this is just possible made-up story, because that kind of house here in the Philippines is approximately $18,000, or around 1,000,000 PHP.

It's possible that someone might sell such a house here at that price, but it would be extremely rare. And if someone did sell it at that low price, it would surely be sold immediately.
I don't have time to write an essay, but in terms of the price in my currency and for my country, Indonesia, it is still a fairly large amount.
For the average house, it probably depends on where you live, especially given the differences between countries. In my area as well, there are price differences between big cities and small villages, which can be a significant factor. On average, in my region, houses priced around $8k to $20k are still quite luxurious compared to others.

First of all congratulations. Buying a house with Bitcoin is an incredibly rewarding feeling. I also bought my home with Bitcoin profits back in 2018. Hodling has always paid off for Bitcoin investors. However, I couldn't understand how you managed to buy such a house for only ~$9k. Are houses really that cheap where you are? You couldn't get a similar one here even for 10 times that price.
Yes, it does give me a sense of satisfaction to have achieved this, and I am quite grateful for that.

However, regarding the house, I did purchase it at that price, but it should be noted that I bought the furniture and repainted it separately, as I only purchased the house itself, which has two rooms, and that is still enough for my wife and I to live in.

I searched on google how much a house on Indonesia usually cost and it's way above higher for that fully-furnished house. It's also hard to believe someone sold it since the house doesn't look that old yet.

But if it's true, it's indeed cheap if he got it at that price. I'm thinking that it can be an installment or downpayment for the house but if OP really got it at that value then he is very lucky. He could even resell it for s higher price in the future.
That is true if it already has facilities inside, but I want to say that I only bought the house without any facilities or furniture inside. I also renovated it by changing the color of the house, which cost me more money, but since I am talking about buying, I mentioned the price listed in my post because I did buy it from my brother at that price.

With such amount, this kind of house you will get. Roll Eyes

Even you live in sub district, it's still not possible to get a nice full furnished house.

You are comparing it to Bali, which is obviously very different because I live in a subdistrict in West Java where access in terms of roads and other facilities is still inadequate. Even the house I bought currently cannot be accessed by car. So this is clearly a distinguishing factor Smiley

Although some people might think it’s a bit regrettable to sell Bitcoin at this time, for me personally, since a house is a primary need for me now, I consider this decision to be the right.
I did the same thing when bitcoin was roughly $2k-$3k and I have zero regrets about it. So don't worry, just keep accumulating more bitcoin for the future and enjoy your new home.

For now, my future goal is to start collecting Bitcoin again. As for what I have spent so far, I do not regret it because, for me, it was worth doing because the profit I made allowed me to buy a new house, and that was worth considering so that I would not regret it.

that is not a house, that's a mansion right there Cheesy
~snip~

It seems exactly the same to me, so although there is a suspicion that the OP bought that house for less than $10k (fully furnished), maybe he made a good deal or maybe he just paid part of it as someone already wrote. In the EU, you can't even buy a woodshed for that amount, especially if you're in Western Europe.

Maybe it's time to start moving to Indonesia because I wonder what 1 BTC can buy there Cool
My mistake was taking photos of my house after I renovated it (repainted it) and bought furniture for it, and not mentioning this in my previous post.

I bought the house with no amenities inside, no furniture at all, and it hadn’t been properly painted by my sibling beforehand (I bought the house from my sibling), so it might seem unusual, but if you’re living in Indonesia and buying a house from family, the price could be similar to what I paid.
1 BTC? Oh no, you can buy a more magnificent building located in the city center because I am only on the outskirts where my village is still very remote and even the access is still a little difficult.

I described previously how I liquidated in the previous cycle, selling close to $20k. It wasn't enough to buy a home where I live now, but it was enough for a big enough deposit to secure the mortgage. Haven't regretted it since. We needed the home (and it's already 20+% in value now), quality of life has improved overall, and yes, BTC is $120k now but living without the house for another 4 years might have had unforeseen cons. We certainly would have been more miserable!

That same 0.076 would be enough to buy material to build a house where I come from... though not the land. As Lucius points out, you couldn't get a shed for that amount. I've seen parking spaces in my city going for much more than that...

So in summary: job well done! No point holding if you never see any benefit right?

P.S. Lucius if Indonesia price interests you, you will be shocked by its lesser ASEAN neighbours... you do lose out on many things you and I take for granted though like. Healthcare? =) Roads? (clean) running water?

The conditions are different between your country and mine Cheesy, so it's only natural that this happens, but if I could choose and had more money, I would obviously want to live in a more developed country Smiley

In terms of per capita income and the condition of the country, I don't want to compare, but it's clear that there is a big difference, so it's only natural that prices in my country and in the country where you live are as different as heaven and earth.

Okay the house is remote and can not be accessed by car.

so various questions arise.

Plumbing any running water at all?

Do you use an out house?

How do you cook?

Electric or gas or a hot plate?

Do you have any electric power
Do you have any internet?
Do you use a satellite for the internet and your phones?

Do you bike to a road to a car
