Penalty shoot out made Crystal Palace win. Liverpool was denied 3 goals, 2 of them saved by Dean Henderson. Salah was lackluster the whole game and missed his shot as well. Liverpool introduced 4 new plates today so it was also a new team.
We know Liverpool seemed to control much of game and scored first but their failure to convert other chances including missed penalty by struggling Salah ultimately cost them win. Dean Henderson was clear difference maker for Crystal Palace making crucial saves that kept his team in game.
