Exactly people need to realize that bitcoin actually spans beyond just been a scarce asset and encompasses many things which gives it value, currently you can have hundreds of coins or tokens having less total supply than bitcoin but yet they are not anywhere close to the bitcoin value. Some thought it was bitcoin anonymity that makes it valuable but yet there are any more privacy oriented coins than bitcoin. Some think it is maybe because of bitcoin scalability and then some actually created coins scalable than bitcoin but yet none has bitcoin value.

Bitcoin is unique because it encompasses lots of different attributes to make it unique and the top of it all its utmost decentralization, even if bitcoin wasn’t the first cryptocurrency this features would have made it defeat an coin but been the first if it’s kind simply means for now it is unbeatable in my opinion
