But does this even matter in the champions league? Does winning champions league has something to do with the competition of the winning team domestic league? If its based on the competitive nature of the domestic league, I think the Spanish Laliga and the English premier league teams will always be the teams winning the champions league because these two are the most competitive league in Europe. PSG won it last time and there's no way I will agree the French ligue one is more competitive than the German Bundesliga but PSG still won after every odds. If Bayern Munich can be determine and focused, they will definitely one it someday again just like PSG did.

That's not what he was saying he wasn't using the competition in various leagues as a criteria for winning the Champions League, he only stated that the current Bayern Munich's team only has what it takes to win the Bundesliga since the competition against them is not very tough there they don't have what it takes to win the Champions League, I see some truth in that statement though take a look at Kompany's squad, do you think they're capable of winning the league ahead of the likes of Liverpool, Real Madrid, Barcelona, PSG, Inter and the rest they can't even the compared to the squad PSG has.
