I most likely did keep the recovery key but I have no idea where (I know that is bad! and I will start a search now). But as regards contacting support, I can find no way of doing so, without being signed in. I sent an email to
support@kraken.com but it came back saying that emails sent to that address won't be replied to so I feel I have no option but open an account with another exchange. Tried etoro, it turned me down because I am in the UK. Have since reactivated by coinbase account.
