Crystal Palace is indeed improving; they even have a very strong mentality when they reach finals, destroying the dreams of strong teams. They previously defeated Manchester City in the FA Cup final and now they've destroyed Liverpool in the final and won the title. However, I still doubt Crystal Palace's ability to compete in the Premier League. I'm not even sure they can compete in the top four, even though they've improved.
Competing in the Premier League is indeed difficult because every team needs to be more consistent from the start of the season to the end. But I'm eager to see how Crystal Palace performs next season, even if you still have doubts about their ability. However, I'm quite the opposite, because with such a surprising result, they certainly have the ability to compete at a more intense level in the Premier League next season.
Being consistent in the long run might be a big challenge for them but if they have all it takes to maintain consistency, they will definitely perform pretty good and if possible finish on top four. This new season will be full with a lot of surprises from clubs that we didn't expect much from.
Oliver Glasner is indeed a good coach because he has barely spent up to 18 months in the club and he has built the club to a good standard to the point that they have won two trophies within ten weeks. It will be interesting watch most of their matches next season.
Bringing this club two trophies in such a short period of time is perhaps a testament to the extraordinary skills of the coach here because the way this player has shaped this
Crystal Palace team, he might do something really good next season. Given how they have struggled against Liverpool recently, it's perhaps no wonder they can go far next season. The next season of the Premier League will certainly be even more competitive as every team has made some big additions this transfer summer if I'm not mistaken Liverpool Football Club may have managed to make five big signings this summer.
However in this Community Shield they could not win the trophy even with five major additions, meaning they could not properly defeat Crystal Palace but their best players missed penalties in the FA Community Shield match against Crystal Palace.
