I couldn't figure out your stance here, as you sounded both sarcastic and straightforward at the same time.
Well, history has shown that preseason could be used to judge the winner, and it has failed in many cases as well. This is why we are waiting for the actual tourney to start. However, Bayern will always be the most preferred winner, especially with the inconsistent performance of Leverkusen and the departure of their hero coach Xabi Alonso. I don't have so much faith in Erik ten Hag.
You're right pre season games doesn't justify how a team will perform that season although most times when a team performs well in pre season they are likely to do well but it's not the same with when a team doesn't perform well. A team with bad performance in pre season can grow better as the season progresses and it could be the case with Bayer Leverkusen. Bayern Munich are the favorites and I don't even see any team mounting them pressure as Leverkusen did during the time of Alonso. Losing Alonso, Wirtz and a few will definitely affect their performance this season.
That’s the fact, but if we look at how some of the teams performed well in the pre-season as of recently, it proved that almost all of them can do well this season. We all know that in football everything is possible to happen, and that’s why even the teams that had bad performances in the pre-season will later grow better than those that have been successful in the pre-season: That’s all about football.
But you stated that Bayern Munich will be the favorite and that you don’t see any team that can be able to challenge them and give them pressure like how Bayern Leverkusen dealt with them last season. I totally disagree with that statement. Because even this coming season I still hope for Leverkusen that they can still do much better even without Alonso, and not only them, but they might also be a team that can be better than Bayern Munich too, but we won’t know now till when the season starts.
