Yes I agree winning Champions League in back to back years is extremely rare with only Real Madrid achieving it in over 30 years which shows this is difficult competition for any team no matter how good they are. And yes exactly PSG has strong team historical data suggests it is highly unlikely they will win again this year as unpredictable nature of knockout games mostly leads to upsets and prevents even best teams from winning consistently.

In the last four seasons, Real Madrid have won the Champions League twice. If they lose it this season, they would win it the next season. This was how it happened in 2022 and 2024. It's possible that in 2025/2026 season Real Madrid will be the winner of the Champions League. This was why Xabi Alonso was brought into the club. They are the only club that take this competition personal and that's why, the management gets the best players and coach for this task.
