I personally originally intended to buy a house. And the price was close to yours, OP. However, I decided against it and instead chose to build a house from scratch on a plot of land I'd purchased several years ago. But my story isn't about the money I've earned from Bitcoin investments. I've had a dedicated savings budget for building a house for a long time.

But everything was beyond my expectations. building a house today is much more expensive than buying a decent, fashionable, used house. A few kilometers from my house, a new housing complex has been built offering simple houses that I thought were comfortable and fashionable enough. I was surprised by the relatively low prices, only around Rp. 165,000,000 to Rp. 360,000,000. In dollars, it's probably only around 10,000 to 20,000 USD or a little more. And yes, the building is new, although not large. But the minimalist design honestly attracted me. Unfortunately, I've already built my house from scratch, and it's currently still under construction, almost 80% complete. But I won't regret it, because this might be the better path for me. However, if I had held off on building a house from scratch and waited for affordable housing to become available, I might now have a new home at a price not far from what the owner has. But I live in a small town, very far from the capital. But I'm comfortable living here.

However, if we're talking about used houses, there are many more here for less than yours, OP. Well, not as good as yours. But I think it's pretty good.

Honestly, I was surprised by some of the responses from other users here. Some even thought OP's house was too cheap. In fact, in Indonesia, especially in the southern part of West Java Province and even in some other areas, house prices are much cheaper (used houses, of course). This makes me suspect that in other countries, house prices are very high. This makes house prices in Indonesia seem unreasonable.

However, in Indonesia, house prices are also very expensive in big cities like Jakarta, Bali, and elsewhere. Even in Jakarta, a simple and small house can cost around 100,000 USD, but in other areas like Cianjur, 100,000 USD would be enough to buy about 7 houses of the same size.

But I'm quite concerned about what's happening here right now, because I see purchasing power starting to decline. Not only are house prices dropping, with not many interested, but even the price of used vehicles here has dropped drastically. Most people are trying to sell their vehicles and homes because of the current economic situation. Some are even selling their homes in the city and buying back homes in the village. And indeed, that would be the best solution for city residents who want to still be able to afford a home to live in while also having some money left over for capital. A few years ago, it wasn't like this. But I don't understand what's happening this year. Hopefully, things will improve.
