Or maybe they spelt their skeletor username a bit differently and that’s why it isn’t coming up. I think instead of searching for the username skeletor since maybe it was spelt differently we could look for the first instance of “magic Internet money” on bitcointalk. I saw that thread you posted earlier from 2012 but I’m fairly certain that thread isn’t the first time it was said. I remember someone saying “‘magic Internet money” on this thread from 2011 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=28741.0 but the comment is no longer there. I’m fairly sure it was that thread but I could have been another thread from 2011.

There's very little chance (basically zero) that the mods or admins altered or deleted any post you might be talking about. I'd say you're remembering something else entirely... perhaps it was even on a different forum?
