The end of the Kolpak system has done wonders to CSA. If that system was still in place, then players such as Dewald Brevis and Corbin Bosch would be playing for the English county sides instead of the South African national team. Also from what I understood, the CSA is not being too strict with the transformation quotas nowadays. This is one of the main reasons why the performance of South African national team is showing a marked improvement in the recent years.
I didn't know that such a system existed in South Africa, I first learned about it through your post that players were transferred to the England team through the Kolpak system.And to be honest, this kind of system seems very unfair to me, although everyone has personal freedom, but here a lot of phishing was done to transfer players to other teams. Although I already know the South African team as one of the strongest teams, even I wouldn't call it a bad thing if the South African team improves further due to the abolition of the Kolpak system.
