I saw that initially Tottenham was taking the lead before ever PSG got an equalizer and got the game to the penalty shoot out that ushered them into victory, congratulations to PSG and kudo to Tottenham in a very brilliant performance but they could have done better, well this performance from Tottenham shows some form of readiness but I doubt if it will really freet any top Premier League side in the new season because that form does not show one which is really firm to withstand the premier league level of competition.
PSG was unable to score any goal in the first half, I was not impressed by Totenham, why will they start what they cant finish, to me I felt that they game was over for PSG but Totenham dashed their hope, some teams can not allow such to happen, they were winning convincingly, lets say the firts goal was a mistake just for example, what happened to the second which was the equalizing goal, are going call that a mistake also, it was a disappointing performance that came from Totenham, there wouldn't be any news for me to say Totenham did well because they weren't able to keep to it until the final whistle, they also got another chance during penaly shootout but messed up too althogh I won't blame them much on that because penalty is luck.
Well in football it is not over until it's completely over, Tottenham played at the level of their understanding of the game, and to the best of their knowledge being defensive when You're winning the game was all they could do, forgetting that the best way to defend is to attack. Tottenham Hotspur literally won that game, but they started towards the tail end to defend what they've not won, instead of attacking your opponent to keep the pressure on them.
In football as a team it is understood that hence the pressure on you keeps on coming, there is a high likelihood that you might concede goals, and I believe Tottenham knew about this but they couldn't do anything about it.
