We've been over this, there are double standards at play, look at excessive deaths in Cuba since it wanted to cooperate with Soviet Union. How many do you reckon would die if Mexico decided to join a military alliance with China because it was profitable for them? What happened in Libya, Afghanistan, Iraq? So short answer hypocrisy and realpolitiks, and it's not Russia who made the mockery of the international law, unfortunately it just follows. Can't run by the rules if the person ahead of you constantly breaking rules and no one cares.
