I still cannot believe that some people still fall for Ponzi schemes. I know someone close to me who still invests in one. The scheme is clearly a scam. How can you transfer money to someone’s personal account call them to acknowledge the payment then give them your Ponzi scheme details so they can update your page? After that you will see the naira amount increasing day by day and they will tell you that is your profit just imagine.
Yeah, but you are kinda skipping the most important bit here: its not all about logic. Its psychology, plain and simple.
You re looking at this from a rational perspective, scanning for red flags, running your little mental checklist. But the folks getting sucked into these scams? They see something else entirely. All they see is dollar signs and a shiny illusion that their "investment" is magically multiplying. People dont get sucked into Ponzi schemes because they are dumb. Most of the time, anyway. Its more about being in the wrong headspace - maybe desperate, maybe just wanting to believe, and totally swept up by everyone else bragging about their "gains."
