Conceding two goals in such short period was too embarrassing for the UEFA Europa League winners.
Lady season, we all saw how Tottenham Hotspur struggled in the English Premier League and finished just one position above the relegation zone only to save their season by winning an European trophy. This season, their performance yesterday I think sends a strong message to the new coach Thomas Frank that he has a lot of work to do to improve the team and put out a better performance this season
It is truly unbelievable that a team can lose a match after being 2 goals ahead for 84 minutes. It was even very annoying for those who were watching the game live. It was almost certain that Tottenham were going to win the match and lift another trophy at their home ground. But they failed to defend the match in the last minute and conceded a goal 6 minutes before normal time and 4 minutes of extra time.
Tottenham fans in particular were feeling increasingly frustrated by this match and they may have lost faith in Tottenham or expressed their frustration after watching this match. However, Tottenham must learn to cope with the pressure of the final minutes of the match.
