You're absolutely right that there's really no need to prove people wrong or right about the benefits that comes with Bitcoin, personally, I'd rather just leave them with their thoughts and ideas about Bitcoin, because even if you go on to explain to them or convince them about the benefits of Bitcoin, they'll still end up believing whatever they wanna believe and if what you're telling them doesn't align with their belief, you'll just end up wasting your precious time for nothing. So it's better for me to focus on my own experience and interests as this can be a more peaceful approach, and even when the discussion gets heated, I'm always careful not to share any sensitive information simply because I wanna prove a point.
