

I sustained a sprain while going through my 7th set at exactly the 11th Push this evening. I thought it was not serious initially and had to wait to see how it feels to consider completing the count to 20. But no, I'm definitely going to be out for sometimes as I realised this late that it's swollen already. Sprain affects the veins and arteries and the pain is really much. I only massaged with hot water and balm but I really don't know if an ice black could have been a better option. If this pain does not subside by tomorrow, I will have to see a doctor.

This is a serious injury; you shouldn't play with it before it turns into something else. You need to see a doctor for a proper checkup so that you will get the right treatment that will help you recover quickly. Just stop doing push-ups for now so that you won't worsen your condition. When you fully recover from your injury, you can start doing push-ups.
