I didn't expect Sunderland to win this match, but I still thought they could win at home, even if there was a slim chance. I think the lack of goals in the first half encouraged Sunderland and gave them a sense of hope that they could take a point, and they may have started the second half thinking that way.
Me too..Wow, honestly, this is way beyond my expectations. I mean, West Ham isn't a bad team in the Premier League, although their performance was quite down compared to last season. However, in this match, I thought they would win. However, Sunderland was truly exceptional; they started the season very well.
One thing that really caught my attention was Dan Ballard's performance, Sunderland's star man in that match. He's a center-back, but he scored one goal, and he also made some great clearances and held strong, considering that West Ham also launched a significant number of attacks, at least 12 shots, four of which were dangerous.
