Dembele is overwhelmingly the favourite to win the Ballon d'Or. Look at the odds below by bookmakers...
They just see it as a guaranteed.
But I can't say I think a different candidate will win it either. He had lovely stats and won the Champions League before anything else.

Sadly, the vote will be based on the panelist's opinion. I don't think his achievement last season would give a lot of impact, though Dembele has been the lowest odds compared to the his competitors. I won't be surprised if he not be winning it, but it'll be Yamal or Raphinha that will win it. It's pretty often the panelist of Ballon D'or was not giving fair rating. Don't be surprised if he gets no Ballon D'or. They just see it as a guaranteed.
