When i read the topic, thought it was going to be one of those topics in how to beat the system which of course doesn't work. But reading it, I think that gambling smart is gambling responsibly. There's no difference in the two. With the right strategy, you will not only be gambling responsibly, you will also be gambling smart.

Strategy is not the reason why people gamble irresponsibly, but the reason why people don't gamble responsibly is that they don't understand gambling.

If the understanding of gambling is not there, you can't be smart in gambling; you may think you are a smart gambler, but you are going about gambling in the wrong way. If you understand that winning is not guaranteed and is a result of luck, you would not want to gamble with an amount that you can't afford to lose.
