Yeah until yesterday I wasn't even aware of France's front court problems with all the injuries. Just read it in German news finally about all the players they are missing and their overall height is alarmingly low. 
They still have quality in their team of course but missing Wemby and Gobert alone is a HUGE blow, epecially to your defense since these 2 are both all NBA defensive players.
Anyway, if they play well as a team they still have a chance but looking at the missing players now France is the clear cut number one for this tournament with no team coming even close.

Nobody can dismiss a team like France, but we have to admit that they have a clear problem there. They will also miss Fournier, who was a connection link in their lines. Honestly, I'm very interested to see how they will choose to play and with whom.
Serbia are significantly favoured @2.50. They haven't ever won it, right? Spain have odds like 14.00. Very high for a team which became champions 4 times in the last 6 EuroBasket tournaments...
No, they haven't. At least as Serbia, because as Yugoslavia, they earned it 8 times.
As for Spain, IMO the odds are correct. Doesn't matter how many times you get it. If your team has injuries and is missing crucial players, then you can't rely on history to win it. Serbia is the favorite for a couple of reasons, besides the fact that they have in their team the magnificent Joker.
