For me, I consider Athletico Madrid a mediocre team due to the way the club's hierarchy runs the affairs of the club, for several years Athletico Madrid can only boast of maybe one or two la liga titles and two champions league runners up and yet the club went ahead to retain Diego Simeone who has only succeeded in making the club a third place figure despite spending huge amount of money in the transfer market over the years, I think its time for a change at club.

Well apart from them which other team since like over two decades have been able to challenge Barcelona or real Madrid? I think you get the picture, it's not easy when these two giants have made the Spanish La Liga a domestic title that is meant to be won by only them, I think even the board see that Simone is someone that have achieved the unthinkable that's from my perspective though. La Liga isn't all that competitive that other teams will challenge for the trophy and ATM are the guys doing and I just feel they are scared of being floated out of the picture of any drastic change occur.
