Because Bundesliga teams are so far behind Bayern Munich in terms of finances, it's difficult for them to build a team that can match Bayern Munich.
Leverkusen were a surprise in the last two seasons. Even last season, when Xaabi Alonso was still around, they couldn't compete with Bayern Munich, let alone this season. So, it's no surprise that this season's Bundesliga will once again be a league without fierce competition for the title. Bayern Munich will certainly have a very easy time defending their title.
If all teams learned from Munich, they might be able to raise the funds to purchase expensive players. However, I believe they would be better off emulating Leverkusen's style. Are they as wealthy as Munich? I don't think so. So Leverkusen is a reflection of a team that relies on the collective strength of its players. They are able to cover each other’s weaknesses, allowing them to win the title in the 23/24 season.
Though it was quite challenging, Leverkusen managed to disrupt Munich’s dominance temporarily. Perhaps other teams can learn from that. Leverkusen's issue is the departure of many key players. This is inevitable for teams that performed well in the previous season, as other teams will be tempted to buy their players.
