I am not a fan of them either, especially not for hot wallet use. But there have been situations where I needed one. I also use Blue Wallet as one of my companion apps for my Jade airgapped hardware wallet. I initially installed it over the Play Store but I know there are alternative ways to download it (like GitHub) if one day it completely disappears from the Store. I also use MetaMask on my Android when itI need to have stablecoins on the go.
