Real Madrid played at home and only scored 1 goal.
I didn't watch the match live, but watching the replay on YouTube, I saw that after Kylian Mbappé scored from a penalty kick, Xabi Alonso looked dissatisfied.
Of course, the coach was dissatisfied with Real Madrid's poor performance, wasting so many chances.

If Real Madrid continues like this, Barcelona will easily dominate the top of the standings and win the title again this season.

His face says it all because the players were just on the pitch running like kids without direction and we can't say they created a lot of chances. If it were teams like Villarreal, Celta Vigo, Real Betis, Espanyol or Alaves, this result Madrid had won't have been possible at all, like it would have ended in a bad way for Madrid. Alonso wasn't happy at all, is like the penalty was the only hope they had to get a goal (which is true), which means the visitors did pretty well to have hold them down till when the conceded the penalty, if not for that reckless challenge the defender made on Mbappe the game would have ended in a goalless draw.
I agree with you, Barcelona are still fresh like the way they  ended last season and their energy is still on a positive level, so Madrid with this form will finish in a terrible position. I never saw anything positive about Madrid in that game and it sure didn't give that signal that they can compete with Barcelona with what we witnessed last night, this is business time and Alonso might have a poor run this season with Madrid if they continue like they played last night against a weak Osasuna, they should try anand create chances and be more clinical in front of goal.
