You made interesting points mate. Leverkusen under Xavi Alonso was a terror to Bayern Munich and that made the Germans bundesliga once again interesting to watch as it was no longer a one man show as it was for many seasons. So if Leverkusen has to lose form this season and give a lower performance from what they gave last season then the bundesliga will be back to it's boring one man show league again, and this isn't what we wish to watch this season.
But last season, Bayern won the title even with Leverkusen being managed by Xabi Alonso, which means that Xabi Alonso was lucky to have won the Bundesliga title. I believe that if he had stayed at Leverkusen this season, we would see him losing again and Bayern becoming champions again. Now, he's at Real Madrid, and he's not managing to make Real Madrid play well and get good results.

Have you imagined how anyone can be so lucky for 34 times in a row? Is that even possible at all. Mate, let give Xavi Alonso his flowers for taking Bayer Leverkusen on an unbeaten season to win the league trophy. Yeah Bayern Munich have a taste for building stronger squad on each new season and that's where they are above Leverkusen's league because Leverkusen doesn't even have the much funds to afford high profile players even if they wish to. So it was foreseeable that Bayern Munich were going to win the league on the next season even with Xavi staying.
