Osassuna could be considered to be one of the  headstrong mid teams in the La'liga and I had expected that they would give Real Madrid a hard time even if Real Madrid might win the match. I recall they were same team that trashed Barcelona 4:2  in their first leg last season in September, it was in their second leg that Barcelona managed to win them with a lone goal.  So it was very likely that without that unnecessary tackle on Mbappe that led to the penalty, Real Madrid wouldn't have scored any goal and the match would have been a goalless draw game.
Yes, Osasuna is indeed a mid-table team that is always able to make it difficult for the top teams in Laliga. So I'm not too surprised to see Real Madrid struggling to win against this team. Because as we know in the previous season Barcelona also struggled when facing Osasuna. So basically it's still very lucky that Real Madrid got a penalty in this match, because if not, they might start this season with a draw. In addition, if we look deeper, Real Madrid is currently not in too good a form. Because I see from Real Madrid's midfield to the front line, it looks not too organized.

I don't know what the cause of all that is, but maybe the adaptation factor is indeed one of the main obstacles for Real Madrid at this time. Although Xabi has been training at Real Madrid for almost 2 months, it seems that his adaptation period is really quite slow. I don't know if it's Xabi who has difficulty adapting to the Real Madrid players or if the strategy he applies is not suitable. But the point is, I think Xabi must fix all this immediately, because now the season has started. So he must be able to accelerate his adaptation period so that Real Madrid can perform even better.
