This was beyond many people's predictions. Real Madrid, playing at home, were heavily favored and believed to win the match easily. However, it turned out not to be the case. Real Madrid only managed to win by a single goal, despite Osasuna's very defensive tactics. I think Xabi Alonso should have made many changes to the team's play and created more chances, but in reality, he didn't.
So, even though Real Madrid won the match, their overall performance was still quite disappointing.

It was a bit disappointing and I don't think they are yet capable of truly doing what they can do. If the boys work hard they can do really great things. They have a lot of great players in the squad, much superior to Barcelona, but they can't express their football.
This was exactly what I was thinking yesterday, when Madrid was finding it difficult to net the post before the penalty came in. However, I believe that with time, they will improve their performance and tighten the bond. I don't see why they find it difficult to win Osasuna yesterday. I am happy that Madrid was able to get full points yesterday.
That may be true when it was difficult for Real Madrid to find goals in this match, it seemed that the team was sinking into shame again but it may be true that their team manager was just testing the tactics to see if they were truly fully fit, as we have seen many new players come in as replacements. Among them the most notable and captivating performance was by Argentina's Franco Mastattuno. The new Argentine player's dominance of Real Madrid Football Club was astonishing because for as long as he was around, he seemed like a player from Real Madrid long before that.
