It's not a question of age in my opinion, both young and old can get trapped in gambling, in my opinion it's a question of education and social background.

What happens is that when they lose, they will quickly stomach it but any big winning will make it to every news headline and when the uninformed read this news of how $10 made some $10k dollars, they will keep playing and hoping to be as lucky as the one who has made the fortunes through gambling.

Addiction is not age base and it is respectal of no man. If you are not disciplined and responsible, you will surely be addicted.
