I don't think they are thinking of themselves. I'll repeat again that they won't be in the government forever and once their time ends as main politicians, then they'll become the victim of their own work. Or maybe this doesn't happen but they are ruining the future of their sons and daughters. I mean, creating a better and fair life for the future automatically brings you in a very good position because when the quality of life improves for everyone, it 100x times improves for those who are in governance. Just compare modern days to old days.
And those certain lobbies are full of crazy psychopaths and that's a very bad thing. Life is a chess board for them.
