Leoni is too young and won't ready to play in Premier League, Marc Guehi was a captain in Crystal Palace, definitely he doesn't need adaptation at all. It's a good signing, they don't have many defenders. They only have Gomez, Tsimikas and Robertson aside from other defenders in starting lineup.
