Before it was TRUMP coin, followed by Melania coin, and others followed suit - celebrities from entertainment and many more. But the real question is, are they helping people to make money indirectly or are they just collecting money from them, because I believe they have enough already?
I don't think their intent has always been to help people. Let just look at it from a rug pull point of view, but they don't exit the market completely, though a lot of investors suffered losses. Memecoin projects, especially those that comes from celebrities or influential people are not meant to enrich their followers, but they are meant for those who introduces them.
These tokens were never about helping people, even when they claim it might be. Like I have seen "whatever funds we collect, 10% goes to building wells in Africa" type of thing, and I can guarantee you, that is just giving 10% away in order to make the 90% bigger. Because 90% of 100k is 90k, whereas 100% of 5k is just 5k.

So they are using that as marketing, even when they are ACTUALLY doing a charity, their entire reason is to make more money for themselves. In reality, instead of giving these scammers 100k, we could just send our 100k directly to charity. We won't, but it would have been smarter than to get scammed out of that money by these people, that is the most important and different resolution for us.
