The whole 15 player excuse is just silly and stupid in my opinion since they have full control over who is in and out at the end of the day. It's their clear bias towards certain players which is the actual reason, but they clearly aren't gutsy enough to admit that.

India should most probably win the upcoming Asia Cup with any lineup, but it sucks to see supremely talented players like Iyer, Jaiswal etc not being included thanks to the shitty management.

One correction:

15 players restriction is not an excuse but rule and it depends on the tournament and it's organisers like ICC or ACC ( which includes substitute, backup or replacement).

Rules could be flexible for bilateral series but even they have limitations on squad.
