At the end of the first round, I don't think we saw any big surprises. Perhaps we expected more from Liverpool, and much more from Chelsea.
What Chelsea did not do in the first game, they managed to do in the game against West Ham. It was a big statement to send out to the rest of the Premier League that shows they believe they will become Premier League champions. As for Liverpool, they won even though they were not at their best and that is a sign of great champions (they manage to find ways of winning when things are not going well).
Here is the ranking table (do you like this format?):
It is a good table format. Saves me having to add screenshots.
I just hope they can give us something to smile about against West ham on Friday.
Well, 5-1 should have given you plenty to smile about

I feel sorry for Potter, as manager of West Ham United he is facing a difficult start to the season especially when he used to be manager of Chelsea.
I like the table format, it's cool. Thanks.
We got the most needed win to build up momentum for the season- just need to add Garnacho and Simon to the mix and maybe another CB.
Chelsea look certain to finish inside the top three. Whether they have enough discipline in the squad to be crowned champions will depend on how they recruit before the transfer window closes.
