It all comes to the risk/reward ratio. Having a job is a low risk/low reward, while building a business is a high risk/high reward activity.
Having your own business means more freedom, but also more responsibility and there's always the risk of going bankrupt.
Having a job is less risk and less responsibility, but you have a boss and you could always get fired.
Some people have high risk tolerance(so they start businesses), while others have low risk tolerance, so they prefer having a job.
A job also gives you a false sense of security. Grin
Honestly i agree, because each has their advantages and disadvantages. On one hand employees are happier as their salary is constant but on the other hand big rewards are at stake because business owners dared to take high risks. In the end, it comes down to the people, and the mindset they are able to manage risk that they are willing to take. Other people care about security and stability whereas some people love to be free even when this may be accompanied by uncertainty.
