a ponzi is when someone pays you what you think is a high interest rate on your deposit, from them successfully investing etc, when they are really paying you that interest out of your own or other investors deposits.
we are saying the same, they pay you with the money of others, in trading is kinda the same , your money come from another person taking a higher risk than you and so on, until the last one who is fucked
ok there isn't a centralized authority that do this, but again i'm not saying that they are exactly the same, but only alike
