Everything you want to do or become in life is about the sate of your mind, you can control anything you want to control, therefore becoming a responsible gambler is a decision you can make by stating rules and that will help you stay disciplined while gambling. Though it's not easy you said, it comes with a lot of work to put because you definitely you will be tested at some point to do things out of control, I assure you, especially when you encounter a huge lose.

I believe the secret to achieving success in any field is determination and setting your mind on the reason why you initially decided to go for that thing, in other words, your drive. You need to have a strong drive, have the determination and always maintain a positive mindset and even if it'll take some time, you'll definitely achieve it.
