I usually mute the sounds while playing the games because it gets pretty annoying for a long session when you just hearing the same sound over and over again. And it is true to an extent that sounds can manipulate the brain and can urge for more but it's more common at young age, like kids and adolescents not for an adult but to gamble legally, you need to be an adult of age over 18+. What I will say is about the animations that does the same or even more effectively than sound but when you mute the effect can be negligible with just the animation.
I think it depends on the games. If the sounds annoying, I also do the same way, I will mute it. But if the sounds not really annoying, I sometimes prefer to lower the volume. Also, we can also adjust the time, whether it is night or day. In the night, I prefer to mute the sounds because it can easily disturb others.
Yep, the sounds or animation can influence the kids or underage. But for matured people, I think it won't bring significant impact. As matured people, we prefer to focus on the chance for winning the games or how enjoy playing the games are.
I think it is
quite naturalalso normal that each
person has his
or herown approach to
fittingadapting the game
intoto his
or her needs. Others like a low volume environment as they have more control over it as compared to high volume. These can be regarded as minor decisions that make a huge difference in the way the user games. What really matters is that we position ourselves right, such as playing at the appropriate time or at a place where we will not bother other people. By so doing we will be in a position to be comfortable without being destructive in the environment.
