Yeah, the KOL is wrong, it's not the first-ever bitcoin course. Not even as far as universities are concerned as OP has already given an example of a university who came first. I'm glad OP corrected it in the title — it is more appropriate that way.

I do wonder if the KOL just put it wrongly or did it on purpose to make his post more catchy. 🤔 or maybe he actually had no idea, though I must say one quick search is all it takes to know.

I guess that's to make readers curious and react like what we did. Making it catchy gets them more engagement.

Yes, that's how it is. The courses offered at universities are very different from what you usually see online. Having a structured curriculum and a qualified instructor provides a different kind of approach, especially for college students. That's unlike online courses, which are often aimed at people with only a basic understanding of Bitcoin. Either way, it' a good development that Bitcoin education is now being taught at the university level.

Yeah, we agree that it's a good development regardless of the difference that the first online courses about Bitcoin that have been published before compared to this one from the University of Tampa. What matters here is that they're giving attention to Bitcoin and it's now relevant to them.
