Brentford did had a great start in last season too. Manchester City might be degrading even more. Though I expect teams like Manchester City and Aston Villa to be on the upper half of league table at the end. Crystal Palace and Nottingham Forrest played a draw sharing the points while Everton won against Brighton 2-0. What I'm more concerned about is the Fulham and Manchester United game. If ManU keeps its bad performance, it could be one of the team to be relegated at the end of the season. With new teams already winning one of the two games, the teams that have lost all are only West Ham, Wolves and if they lost today, ManU.
As for the case of Man City, I'm not surprised they lost to Tottenham Hotspur honestly. This is making it the 8th time that Pep Guardiola's men are losing to Spurs and you'd agree that in that game, Man City played next to nothing compared to the Europa league winners and I have to say that for the first time in a long while, I'm enjoying the way Spurs are going in football. Its okay to say that Thomas Frank is a good replacement for Ange Postecoglu and he's using the boys well.
The fact that City lost doesn't mean that it's over for them, if anything, it would be like a challenge to Pep Guardiola to improve better because the way I see it, this season won't be as easy as the others have been.
