Allowing Gasperini to leave is a big mistake and it would really affect them this season, Ivan Juric is not a trustworthy coach he hasn't had a great experience in coaching, I don't really know they signed him but I don't think it's a good choice, I won't be surprise if they fail to win their next match.
It's not like allowing Gasperini to leave the club but their contract with Gasperini was expired and they failed to convince him to stay with them, failed in a new contract negotiation with Gasperini. I believe that Atalanta did not what kind of possible consequences they might get without Gasperini after about one succesful decade with him.
It is predictable challenge for Atalanta in a new season that is a first season without Gasperini after many years, but it's very big surprise to see their choice for coach position is Juric. This coach failed at AS Roma last season and before that he was a very unknown coach, I am really doubtful about management quality of Juric.
Atalanta have big problems from departures of their star players and it seems Lookman is on his way to leave too. Perhaps his transfer out of Atalanta will be done in very last days of summer transfer market.
