I think it clearly intentional from Leverkusen board that they wanted to ruin their team momentum and go back to become a top 10 team like they used to be for such a long time. You're right considering the way that ten Hag struggled at United I was not expecting any top team to hire ten Hag but Leverkusen somehow was convinced by what he could do and brought him in and the most worrisome thing is the way and manner that top players are leaving the club
