After struggling to win their first league game of the weekend on Tuesday against Osasuna, Real Madrid tonight thrashed Oviedo in the club's first away game of the season. I'm actually not surprised because I know the club manager Xabi Alonso is still test-running the squad at his disposal and trying to find out which players should be regular starters and the positions that best suits them.
As a Real Madrid fan, it was exciting again to see my darling club win convincingly but even more entertaining to see that my favorite player Kylian Mbappe is still firing from all cylinders. Three league goals already from current European boot winner who still appears very hungry for more goalscoring awards in the new campaign.
It was predictable from the start that Real Madrid could win this match quite easily, because from the team structure alone it was clear that Real Madrid had better quality players compared to Oviedo. also, seeing Madrid's very high ball possession with Xabi Alonso's strategy which seemed quite effective in being able to penetrate Oviedo's very tight defense, and that made the course of the match more controlled on Madrid's side.
if Real Madrid can continue this positive trend in the following matches, I think they have a big chance to end the season with the title.
