Trump is simply acting in ways that the Other US Presidents acted. Former Presidents were allowing the take-down of America. Trump is rebuilding America... MAGA.
He is destroying the US. He wants to fire Federal Reserve Governor Lisa Cook, a move that threatens the independence of the Federal Reserve. No President has attempted this in the 111-year history of the US top bank. This will undermine the confidence investors have in the US economy and make them move money somewhere else.actually it has been done before and trumps legal team know how to do it
the presiding president nominates and appoints the federal reserve governors, where they have ongoing contracts that expire every 2 years on a february(feb2026 is next one), but can be renewed to last a full term of 14 years, so it is in his power to decide who is or isnt worthy of the job
trying to get her "fired" would be a lengthy process of finding her guilty of a crime and then trying to get the senate to confirm it which could take longer then 6 months to 'force' a firing.. . but simply nominating someone new and starting the process of just not renewing her contract in february is a easier/quicker method
he simply can just wait it out and choose not to renew her 2 year term contract. using the investigation of her mortgage fraud as reason for replacing her with a new nominee/appointment
governors are replaced and many do not actually get to have the max "14year full term", many have been replaced earlier for different reasons
