IMO, Schroder is 2nd option after Jokic to become MVP. You need to win gold and when it comes to Germany, I can see it happening.

Well, it's as we all said and agreed. Serbia and Germany are the favorites for the first 2 places, and if they are not, well, it will be a surprise for all. In any case, we will enjoy every game of the tournament with such players.
With Serbia it’s different, there literally isn’t a bad player there, and they all play as one. That’s why Jokic is definitely the main favorite for the MVP award.
And maybe, this is the only way to see someone else as the MVP and not Jokic. If the criteria for the MVP are his sole contribution to bringing his team to the medals, then Jokic doesn't necessarily have to be the MVP.
