Newcastle United played a magnificent game against Liverpool, playing with ten men for 45 minutes. Look at the statistics, they scored very well for a team playing with ten men. They had more shots than Liverpool. Liverpool had fewer shots, but fortunately, they found the net in the final seconds of extra time through 16-year-old Rio. This gave Liverpool the victory, while Newcastle bore the brunt of the punishment for being down to ten men.

Newcastle really impressed me with how they managed to play in the second half against Liverpool. Not many complete teams can put that much pressure on Liverpool’s back line—but to do it with 10 men? That deserves all the praise Newcastle is receiving in the media right now.

It’s a shame that a last-minute goal happened, because they might have earned the full 3 points. Unfortunately, luck gave them nothing in the end.
Yes, that's right. We can see how impressive Newcastle United game is. Newcastle players performance made it difficult for Liverpool to win this match. In the first half Liverpool scored a goal through Ryan Gravenberch in, where in the final minutes of the first half Newcastle was forced to play with ten players because Anthony Gordon fouled Virgil van Dijk. In the second half Liverpool scored their second goal through Hugo Ekitike, then Newcastle fought back with goals from Bruno Guimaraes and William Orsula to equalize. However Liverpool won the match with a goal from Rio Ngumoha in the final minutes. So I think Newcastle United performance and teamwork in this game was actually impressive. And it was very impressive to see the ten players fighting hard and putting pressure on Liverpool. This match clearly showed how great both teams are as they put on a spectacular show.

But I personally believe that Newcastle United could have won this match if they had eleven players. And maybe they could have kept up with Liverpool in this match. The next match of Newcastle United is against Leeds United. So I think Newcastle United will perform better by the experience they have gained.
